Our latigo tie straps measure 1¾'' x 6' and are made from the finest latigo that we can find. Most of the tie straps will be made from Salz brand latigo from California, while others are constructed from Caldwell/Moser latigo. Our straps are hand-edged, tipped and punched with the holes for the cinch buckles 2'' apart.

Drop Nose Bands
Our drop nose bands come in two sizes -- small, and large. We recommend the small for 2-year olds only. The large is only ½'' larger, but it will make a difference. We manufacture our drop nose bands from 5/16'' nylon rope or rounded leather. The rope will have more bite than the leather. These are not cavessons. Drop nose bands are made to fit just below the bit, not above it.

NB1 - Roper Nose Band

Our roper nose band has a 1'' wide strap, edged on all 4 sides, with a ¾'' wide strap glued and sewn around it that fastens around 2 halter bolts that run through a 1½'' brass ring. This makes our nose band able to go completely around where it will not cut the air off a roping horse. It is a very functional and popular nose band.
