Our drop nose bands come in two sizes, small and large. We recommend the small for 2-year olds only and the large is only ½ inch larger, but it will make a difference. Cowhorse Equipment manufactures our drop nose bands from 5/16 inch nylon rope or rounded leather. The rope will have more bite than the leather. Drop nose bands are made to fit just below the bit, not above it.
