Spurs & Straps
As Tom Balding spurs become increasingly popular, it
is very important for the customer to understand how spurs
should fit. Tom Balding spurs are patterned after the famous
Blanchard spurs that were well known for their comfortable fit
and staying down on the boot. This style functions best when it
is sized to allow free movement of the spur on your boot. You
should stand with your weight on each boot, one at a time,
picking up the shank and letting it drop. The spur should fall
back into its original place. Tom Balding products are created
entirely by Tom. Jaunita Balding (Tom’s Wife) is in
charge of design, layout, and sawing of the silver overlays.
